Saudi Prince Majed Bin Talal Abdulaziz Al-Saud has been arrested by members of the Los Angeles Police Department after a neighbor called 911 for assistance after reportedly seeing a bleeding woman trying to escape from a Beverly Hills estate and screaming for someone to help her. The young Saudi Prince, who lives on a lavish estate in Beverly Hills, was arrested and charged with attempting to coerce a female employee who works at the estate into performing oral sex.
Saudi Prince Majed Bin Talal Abdulaziz Al-Saud was released from police custody within 24 hours on a $300,000 bail after his arraignment. The identity of the Prince’s legal counsel was not disclosed. The special consul division of the Los Angeles Police Department was questioned by members of the news media as to whether or not the Saudi Prince is entitled to diplomatic immunity, but the LAPD claims that diplomatic immunity cannot be applied to Prince Majed in this case.
Trouble ensued when a woman who was allegedly bleeding and screaming for assistance was seen by a neighbor attempting to scale the wall to escape the property, valued around $37 million and considered one of the most exclusive mansions in Beverly Hills. According to real estate sources, the property has been leased by a variety of foreign nationals over the past 12 months, with each tenant staying only a few weeks at a time.
According to court documents, Saudi Prince Majed Bin Talal Abdulaziz Al-Saud is expected to appear again in court on October 19, 2015 to answer the sexual assault charges. Officials at the Saudi Embassy have not released any official statement about Saudi Prince Majed Bin Talal Abdulaziz Al-Saud’s actions and have not responded to any questions regarding the sexual assault, which allegedly took place on the evening of Wednesday, September 24.
